Finished the expansion!! It was a little shorter then i was hoping for but none the less very impressive. There could have been more brain stumpers, as i found it a little easy to just whip through without getting stumped on any particular spot. I noticed that you have left it wide open to continue the story and even named it "Legend : Defenders of Karthanc". I would be very interested in beta testing new projects that any of you come up with.

You finnished it already !!

Well please can you give me some feedback as if the story is well recieved I will start on the new version Monday.

What I have taken in so far are the following:

1) Players have partys that far exceed what I had thought. basic monsters will have to be level 20 upwards.

2) Puzzles will have to be increased, and spread over a wider area.

3) The next Expansion will be twice as big so that should keep even you going Bodisia

Please if you can spare the time, comments on the end bosses and where you thought puzzles would be needed etc would help me to improve the next expansion to the best experiance possible.

I need to confirm something. I am using the best UIQ device out there a an ericsson p900 and i also registered for Legacy, the expansion pack including revenge. I also downloaded the shareware of Legend and it seems to work like a full version. I take it that its going on this way cause i registered for Legacy am I right?

It will only work like the real version until you get to certain "events' which will trigger the "shareware demon" to shut you down.

The story line that was used for Legend was very good, the way it ended leaves it wide open for very long campaign. If you would like more input then we can communicate via email so that other developers don't steal our ideas!!

Here are some issues that in my opinion could make the game even better:

**The damage that a character can inflict with magic vs. swords needs to be tweaked. Running around casting curse/paralyze/lightning shouldn't gaurantee victory, but it does. One way this could be fixed is to increase the amount of sp that it costs to cast these spells. I really enjoyed the final battle in legends because magic did nothing to damage the little *****, i had to beat her down with pure muscle, but i found all of the priests on my way to the end a little too easy. The enemy needs to use more creative spells on us, for example a confuse spell which makes our characters attack the party would be interesting (especially if they paralyze and cast lightning on their own party!!) Maybe a slow spell which only allows you to attack every other round, and maybe a few life stealers which could kill you in a single touch no matter how strong you think you are.

**more enemys should have specific weaknesses against certain spells, and be invincible to others.

**I think the save function should be taken out. You should only be able to save your progress while you stay in the inns. This would stop people from saving thier game before key events and then just reloading if they fail.

**Character selection is key, one thing that bothered me a little is the lack of party members to choose from. It would be interesting to see what would happen with a party consisting of 4 knights, but we all know that it's impossible to get 4 knights. There should be more choice for characters that you can pick up along the way.

**I enjoy the problem & riddle solving aspects of these games, which i saw tons of in the original game and official expansion, but i found Legends was a bit straight forward. Events like House of Patience, House of Ignorance & House of Tricks were fantastic and caused many people many headaches as the millions of posts will prove. Ancient Tower, Dungeon of the Dead, Dark/God & Satan's Hall were all very difficult and should be used as a guide when creating these new expansions.

**I'm sure that some of you may not agree with me, if so please state your case. No opinion is a bad opinion so speak your mind. (I only ask that Gyffes be on his best behavior if he wants to speak his mind, sometimes he gets a little hot headed!! Just Jokin Gyffes)

First of all, how the HECK did you finish the thing in 1 day!?!?!?! Everyone, I think we need to have an Intervention. Either that or have the local chapter of Gamers Anonymous swing by the house!

Second, I think that they were looking for a more in depth report of what you thought of the game and some new ideas. You just provide a quick summary....LOL

Just kidding. Congrats on finishing first (even before Gyffes).

You have some good ideas there. I am not sure about the save only in inn's thing only because if you get a puzzle like the Ice/Fire puzzle in the Expansion or even the Dungeon of the Dead, God's Hall, etc., where you hvae to go deeper and deeper into the place. If you have a problem you could be replaying the same thing over and over. Maybe a better idea would be to have certain places you could save like in console games. Maybe some type of alter or something along those lines.

I, too, would like to be a part of the Beta testing. May not be as quick as Bodisia but I think that going out and buying a new PDA JUST to play Legacy qualifies me as a fanatic for the game...LOL.

Dood! Now enough with the save function!! Its fine the way it is not just in inns. Cause you breezed thru the game and not come across really really tough levels like THE ICE AND FIRE EMPIRES AND HOUSE OF TRICKS (yes yes in freaking bold letters) don't mean they shud alter the save game. Please leave it the way it is Stewe , steve or whatever the names of the developers are.

Dude.. are you nuts bodisa? No. The quests shudnt be even more difficult. They are actually ok the way they r in Legend and not as mind blending in Legacy. Quite alright the difficulty level shud increase JUST A BIT. And not so much. For crissakes i nearly busted my PDA twice out of sheer frustration... (just like Gaga pointed out .. yes House of Tricks, patience). It actually takes the fun out of the game after been stuck in a place for like 2weeks...

I want it noted that I had GUESTS coming this weekend and CHOSE not to pick this up 'til today -- put my boy to nap and sprinted to the office to get it.

Having said that, Bodi -- congrats.

However, if you find a map too easy with your superpowered people, I don't think that's the map's fault. YOU need to start over, you need to play WITHOUT paralyze and/or lightning bolt. YOU need to choose not to save constantly. These are actions you can take/not take to make the game harder without negatively impacting others' ability to play as they need/want.

And I don' think I get hot... mebbe a bit CRANKY....

I like the idea of playing without paralyze and/or lightning bolt (this is what I'm doing right now in the "new game" I started). However, the idea of changing the save function irks me. I like to play whenever I get a chance, and being able to save whenever and wherever if I'm going to play for even a few seconds is quite nice, enough to kill a few bad guys.
