| there are micro XP machines, not PPC, but full Windows XP in a handheld box.

| There's the Motorola MPx that WM 2003 SE for PPC. it has a cool pivoting screen that can go from landscapt to portrait, but it is fugly

| Sharp C860. Linux. Looks like a UX80 (dreaming on) or a large UX50. IMO, a serious machine. |

| There are some HPC's that are pretty good for basic productivity. You can get em on EBay for cheap- NEC MobilePro 770, 780, 790.
But they don't have a lot of firepower, they are good if you need a full keyboard to work with. |

| i suggest we email HP and let them know what we are waiting for...Im surprised that they didnt include a clam shell with swinging screen in their latest release.....Sharp has a good system but Linux is still not easy enough for non-programmers..plus it doesnt have built in wireless capabilities..Im sure that will come though... |
