| Alrite, first question: do you want to be playing games and music on it? because if you really want to be listening to music, i think you should just get an iPOD Mini or something like that and then get the TJ27. However, if you want to be using the Wifi feature a lot (ie. university campuses), then i'd say go for the TJ37. Game-wise, i'd say get a gameboy, because the hard buttons on any new PDA are too small to play games properly i think, although i've never tried so don't take my word for it.
So to sum it up: the TJ37 can be great for productivity due to the 200MHz processor and integrated Wifi. But if you're into games and music, i'd say get an MP3 player and a Gameboy, because (a) you'll need to spend more money on a Memory Stick for music, and the hard buttons are too small for games.

| well, i do not plan playing games on it. The main reason why i want it is because it has that camera, video player, and music player in a small compact device. IF there was such item that was like this out in the market at the price of the TJ27, i wouldnt be having such a hard time trying to decide whether or not to get the 37. |

Trust me, you'll have games on your PDA the first week you get the PDA. Back to the issue: That's all you plan to use your PDA for? Think about it, do you really need the camera or the Wireless LAN? Based on your previous thread, I don't think you'd be needing the WiFi, so are you willing to pay $100+ for a dinky 310,000 pixel camera? Other choices you have are the TJ35 (a slightly older model, bundle isn't that great with no DTG), a TG50 (this was my second choice before purchasing my TJ37, includes a built in keyboard, BT, a microphone which is useful for recording lessons, etc. Only bad part is it has OS5 and not 5.2.1 which isn't really a big concern), a Palm Tungsten E (a bit more usable memory [28MB out of 32MB] but a slower processor) there are also some good deals in the Classified section of this site. Take a look and reconsider. PEG-TJ35

| Yea, i saw the TJ35 and i think that will be a good one. At CDW, is it new? cuz at most places its refurb. And does it come with a video player or not, cuz bargain pda says it does, while other customers complain it doesnt. |

| Please note that the TJ35 does not come with Documents To Go, so you wont be able to create Word Documents, Excel Spreadsheets, or Power Point Presentations unless you purchase it for like $39. Unfortunately, I can't hook you up with this part.

| Tj35 doesn't have integrated Wifi Just a reminder that the TJ35 doesn't have Wifi built-in to it, so don't get your hopes too high about it. Only the Tj37 and TH55 have built-in Wifi (I'm sure there's other Clie's with Wifi, but they're not available from Sonystyle websites unless they're refurbished).

| it doesnt matter about documents to go cuz i dont even have word or those otehr crap. i stayed with wordperfect cuz it came free with my computer. and daver, i did a lot of research about pdas and found that the 35 will be the one that fits my needs most. the 37 and wifi are more for the college student or business people. Just a reminder, im only in high school, dont have a clue where i can get a free wifi access, only have 270 bucks left (it was at around 350, but i bought a movie, went to see spiderman 2, ate out a few times, and people borrwed a total of $40), and i also plan on buying a 2.1 speaker system for my computer, an external hard drive for my comp., maybe a new sound card and a video card. So, if i want to get all these things, i should go for the practical stuff for the things i want. Like in a pda, i dont need wifi, so is it practical for me to get it. Then again, i dont need a pda, so is it practical for me to get it. Since i want it, it makes the pda an exception. |

| Hi sonicularulus,
when i said 'don't get your hopes too high about it', i meant about Wifi. my bad. i was actually going to get the TJ35 myself. However, UBC (in Canada) has free wireless internet for its students on every corner of the campus so built-in Wifi will worth it for me. if what i said earlier made it sound like the TJ35 isn't worth the money, then it looks like i need to take english class again. I've actually played with the TJ35 (my girlfriend's twin brother has one, and it's pretty cool), and i'm jealous of it's flip cover because it looks so much cooler than the one the TJ37/27 has, haha.

| oh okay, that clears up everything. i live here in california and the only place where i know that there is wifi is at an Apple (as in computer) store and im afraid to walk in there cuz i hate apples. i think its all about windows (probably cuz i grew up with it). Its like that thing that most humans have: start with company, try to stick that company all the way. That is what happend to me with sony...lol. By the way, i thought that the 35 and 37 had the same cover style...dont bother responding. ill do some research. |

| anyways, back to the topic. i think ill go with the tj35 and getting it from cdw, but from customer reviews, it seems like they dont do a very good job at keeping track that their items are in stock. Many people complained that the item was instock according to the internet, but they get a call saying it isnt. |
