| Change AudioPlayer jog function from changing volume to ff and rewind I did something in AudioPlayer that instead of fast forwarding or rewinding tracks by using the jogdial it now changes the volume. I lost my manual so I would appreciate a tip. Thanks!

| I thought maybe if I hold the jogbutton in for 5 sec it would reset but it doesn't... Still can't figure it out...

| I just checked the Clie Application Manual and it doesn't talk about changing the jog dial function at all. Why the mystery?

| Now that I am thinking about it -- maybe I used some third-party plug-in or something that enabled changing the jog dial functionality in AudioPlayer. Anyone can give me a hint?

| No- ok, here's basically what happens:
When you're in "song view", eg it displays the song name, artist, album etc, when you move the jog dial it adjusts volume.
When you're in playlist view, eg it displays your songs, when you move the jog dial it scrolls up and down your playlist. Press the jog dial to set the track

| Oh, in addition, when the HOLD switch is set to HOLD, the jog dial is disconnected. So that won't work.

| That's not what I am talking about though. I have since fixed the problem though by going back to my June 23 backup and restoring from it. Basically, when in normal view (I have AudioPlayer version 3.03) when I move the jogdial wheel up or down in rewinds or ffs the track. Also, when you move the jogdial once , the track is fast forwarded at about 4x speed; twice - 8x, three times - about 16x. Also, the rewind and ff buttons change color as you do that. Maybe this is some sort of a plug-in that I got before, but I have no idea what it is. Its info is, however, saved in the Saved Preferences, because that's the file I restored from my June 23 backup.

| That's exactly what I am talking about. This is the AudioPlayer that comes with my NX73V version 3.03 (2003). I guess I maybe downloaded some DA or plug-in and forgot the name of it. But it does exactly what I describe above - changes the jogdial function from changing volume to rewinding and ff just like on a VCR or a CD player with 3 speed settings.

| Also, if I go to Zlauncher and click and hold on the AudioPlayer icon and then select to erase AP prefs and databases and then proceed with the delete, it restores the jogdial function back to changing volume. All I do then is restore from Saved Preferences in my most recent backup.
