| Removing Sony Apps? Sorry, I'm sure this was covered in prior messages, but they are gone. I am starting to run low on RAM even though I am running almost everything I can off the card.
For my purposes I do not need some of the pre-installed Sony apps: the album, photostand. But can't delete using the sony file manager. Can I remove these by unchecking the "ROM" box on FileZ?
Anyone have any other tricks to improve available RAM?
Thanks. |

| So far there's no way to remove apps from rom . . . I've heard Brayder is working on making the 'jack' apps compatable . . . but have heard nothing yet . . .
Don't you have any you can move to your card?

| Thanks. How annoying. Photostand is taking up a big chunk of RAM even though I am not using it. I am using some medical programs that do not work off the stick. Also have had a number of crashes trying to run Docs to Go from the stick, so that's in RAM too. |

| You could use Powerrun to move the medical apps to the MS, but they will probably take longer to load. Brayder has a new version out, but I don't think it's NX compatible yet to remove apps. What you need is JackFlash. I would email Brayder and ask if they have a beta release of JackFlash you could use. |

| Update: Finally got Docs-To-Go to work from the MS (actually did some reading and figured it out). So that helps. I'll try Powerrun too for some other programs, then wait for JackFlash.
Thanks. |

Yep, we still have to wait In anycase, for Docs to Go, your only need the Docs to Go prc file in RAM along with Fonts to Go. The rest can go into the /Palm/Launcher folder. I am running over 6 megs free with over a 100 apps.

The /Palm/Launcher folder, all you need is the Docs to Go in RAM, all others in the Launcher folder.
