| Why Sony, why ??? This would good idea to buy new battery from www.cliebattery.com, but then there is one and biggest problem... i must use same device all over again, so then i must throw palm os cobalt to recycle bin and use usual and same palm os all time...
I love pda devices... one of the things why Sony is very important pda producer is because it produce very good quality devices what for example palmone don't produce...

| I am assuming you are referring to Li-Ion battery life spec: 2-3yr or 500 full recharges which ever comes first. Hey, I can only hope the Japanese Clie market is enough to convince 3rd party battery vendors to maintain their supplies. |

| I'm quite disappointed with Sony, I bought my TH because the UX was totally out of my budget, now, I can get UX's for the same price and NX's for a little more than half the price (even if they are refurbished). My only consolation was that there would be cooler Clie's when i was back in the market for a PDA. Now that the clie line is out of the market, any chance of using my accessories for my next pda are gone, just as the chance of reselling my Sony PDA junk for a decent price.
One thing i probably won't do is buy all the sony stuff i wanted, like those 1 GB MS, or the VR-100K, or the keyboard, etc. Why buy stuff for something that in 2-4 years will be obsolete? When I got my T415, i got a 64 MB MS. It was more than in enough back in the day, but now, 64 is nothing if you truly want to take advantage of all the stuff the TH offers. Back in the day i figured... $90, spread out over a lifetime of 6 years (life through 2 clies)... meant something like $15 a year. Now It's something like 1 GB MS, for $300 (not to mention the 2 GB MS for $430) over a lifetime of 3 years (considering no new clie to use it with)... $100 a year.
Another reason NOT to spend is the high price of MS. I don't own other MS devices, so i can't justify spending all that money.
:'(
