thinkDB 2 - Great DB program, yeah I need to upgrade .
Pocket TV Browser - Get your TV listings here. Can also add entries to your datebook.
VehicleLog - Very old program, but does a good job of tracking mileage, service, and trips.
Action Names 5 - Datebook of choice. Again I need to upgrade .
MegaLauncher - Launcher of choice. Waiting to upgrade...
FastCPU - Makes those pokey apps run faster.
Converter - Convert just about any type of measurement to another.
Holidays - Track all those holidays and have it add them to your datebook

I have an NX, my favorite apps are...

DATEBK5 (HR+) is the best choice for me in Datebook replacement.

AcidImage (HR+) is what I use for photos. Fast, faster, F-A-S-T-E-S-T!!!!!

PalmReader Pro (HR+) is my e-book reader of choice. I read on a daily basis, and would use anything else!

iSilo (HR+) is what I use for web clipping. It's somewhat difficult to set up, but does an outstanding job.

Shadow (HR+) is my 'to-do' & advance planning app... it just keeps getting better & better...it has color themes, amazing font support and a wonderful developer!

TTFont4NX by Lubak fixed my biggest issue with my NX...the lousy skinny fonts. Made it all better. MUST HAVE!!!

PhotoSkin for changing my NX status & graffiti skins. Personalized to the max!

Not must haves, but terrific games:

Dragonfire, Gravity Ball (don't try to put it on your card) P-Jongg and Text Twist.

All of these are available for download from Palmgear, but I encourage you to purchase from the developer's website if at all possible.

On my NR70V...... with 128 MS and Bluetooth MS

My "essentials":

JackFlash/JackSprat/JackSafe - if you need to loads of app's on your clie you need this app's, they are great!

BackupBuddy - Life saver

Launcher X (Hires+) - Iused to be a Yishow user, tried zlauncher but personally love the visual simplicity/elegance and ease of use
of this launcher.

Datebk5 (Hires+)- datebook replacement

Supernames (Hires+)- contact manager replacement

SnapperMail (hires)- great email client

Blazer - WAP and Web Browser in one, works great for what I need.

DiddleBug - Freeware scribble reminder pad...

McFile (Hires+)- Best Filemanager... i think

AcidImage (hires+)- great picture viewer

PDA Defense - 512 bit encryption software. If you have loads of sensitive infoon your palm, this is a key security app. It can be set up to erase all RAM if incorrect password is inserted a number of times; and you can decide to password protect specific app and encrypt specific databases.

ajvmp3 (hires+)- excellent replacement for mp3 player (still beta, but works great)

Converter - what ever you need to convert, this will do it

Worldmate (hires)- the key traveller's companion

KK-12c - if you used a HP12C calculator, this is the best
replacement for it

QuickOffice (hires+) - I carry loads of excel and word files with me, I find this better to DocToGo and it works with SnapperMail for attachment support.

Splash ID (hires+)- for all your sensitive data (credit cards, passaport numbers, etc) Syncs with app on desktop.

Wassup (hires+)- My Today screen on my Clie.

Isilo (hires+)- Really Strong Doc Reader (I recommend te CIA World Fact book with high res maps, a real beauty for travellers.)

Mobipocket Reader Pro (hires+)- another great reader, also supports enews and I also use it to view powerpoint presentations (for this its better than DoctoGo and QuickPoint). I purchaed for it the Oxford English Dictionary and Oxford Dictionary of History, which I store on the MS.

Acrobat Reader for Palm - if you need to view .pdf files on the go

Bonsai (hires+)- Great planning app, a kinf of little MSProject for palm

DayNotez (hires+)- a palm journal, great way to keep daily notes organized

Other Apps:

Kinoma (hires)- movie player, best out there for the moment

JpegWatchLite - for opening jpegs receiver with snappermail (they will be supporting AcidImage in the future)

HandZipperLite - Zip file manager

TimePlace (hires)- Nice world clock grafics

WAClock - Classic

SilkSking Change - speaks for itself (i sue Sonipa skins, very elegant)

ClockFix - Keeps you clie/palm clock exactly tuned to the second.

Speedy - Benchamarking tool

LCD Analyzer (hires+) - check for bad pixel and screen health

ToolOneSony (hires)- system info

AppIcon - icon management

Hackn (X-Master to run them):

FindButtonHack - To assign the find button to different apps

KeyRotateHack - absolutely key if you use the keyboard often, makes using it so much better

McPhling - Great Quick Launcher

PageDownHack - we all know what this is

PopHack - makes input with graffit much quicker (you can assign often used words to a pop up list which comes out when you tap twice on the screen while inputting text)

SelectDayHack - nicer and more complete select date menu which replace original one

TapPadHack - absolutely great for number input from graffiti area (it adds a numeric pad at the place of the normal number input graffiti area, plus a few other useful shortcuts on the graffiti area, like copy, paste, etc)

UnistallHack - Absolutely key to keep you palm clean if you install loads of trials on your clie and then erase them. Basically when you delete an app off the clie with the normal clie delete function, many times it won't delete the pref's associated with the app. UnistallHack monitors all the pref created by the different apps, and when you delet the app, it also deletses the prefs associated to it.

This i it!!!! Hope this helps.....

I'm just going to give a top 10 list.

1) DateBk5 - great for scheduling and todos
2) PalmReader - haven't read a paper book in over a year
3) Clock+ - my alarm clock. Very reliable, and I never have to worry about power outages, volume too loud or too soft, or early alarms on weekends and late alarms on weekdays because I forgot to change the settings.
4) HandyShopper - grocery list app, but so much more
5) Ultrasoft Money - paying my bills weekly takes so much less time now, since I've entered all receipts as I get them during the week
6) AcidImage - great pic viewer
7) Yaps - freeware and encrypted password storer
8) EasyCalc - my graphing calculator for about 2 years now; freeware, with an amazing number of functions. Not pretty, but haven't found anything with more functionality.
9) DiddleBug - great for reminders and very stable
10) For NR users, NRButtons adds a lot of functionality to the status bar.

Bankbook4. Even with a few bugs, there's nothing better for keeping track of your bank accounts.

Tappad. Only palm app that gets used everytime I enter info into my Clie.

Among the essentials :-

Yishow 4.61 – for the background image and picture viewer
Palm Reader Pro – speak for itself
Isilo – html converter
Avantgo – for the daily news and stuff
MyWeek – for a simple non-bloated organizer. Tried the infamous DateBK5, but too messy for my liking. Agendus is slick but the font’s too small.

Handyshopper – modified a bit to keep track of my personal expenses
Document2Go – microsoft stuff
MediaMan – for cataloging my movie collection
TextPlus – speed up text input
Mcphling – Palm should integrate this to their OS!!

Most of my "must haves" have been mentioned already, but one that hasn't is BlueMoon, which is definitely one of my top five. BlueMoon helps you track events that should happen periodically, or one-time events that you want to remember when they occurred. I use it to track auto maintenance (when did I last change the air filter?), carpet cleaning, smoke alarm battery replacement, furnace filter replacement, haircuts, dentist visits, eye exams, contact lens replacements, etc. Anytime you find yourself asking, "When was the last time...", BlueMoon is the tool for you. You could use it to track the last time you called or visited Aunt Betty. You can attach notes to each entry, assign repeating intervals to events, and optionally export due items to To Do. BlueMoon has become one of my indispensible Palm apps.

Why not just put those events in something like DB5? You could even set up a view in DB5 to only view your 'blue moon' events.
