I have just upgraded to a Sony Ericsson T637 [from a T616 on the Cingular network] and I am having trouble getting it to talk to by Sony Clie NZ90. I have d/l'd the latest drivers from the Sony site. The Clie, after a test run, returns the following message:
Connection is OK, but phone does not match settings. For best results use the driver for your phone. Responce from phone: SONY ERICSSON AAB-1031012-BV
I use the SE T630, something very similar to your phone. Unfortunately, the driver for mobilephones released by Sony doesn't include our phones. Only the lower model T610 (The Nerve!).
Fortunately, the SMS function works with the generic GSM phone option of the driver. Configure your Clie to your phone (both in the SMS and Settings) using this function and try to send a test message to yourself. It's a trial and error thing, so be patient.
I also discovered that you can dial phone numbers in your address book using bluetooth. No need to manually dial the number on your SE phone.
I have the t630 ... I still cant use the UX to send SMS or dial phone numbers. I also dont know where to get the drivers. I also dont know where to find the mobile connection wizard. Does anybody know how to give us a walk through process.
Thanks
