| TH55 Sena Case Questions Hey guys,
I have seen the Sena case at their website and it seems to quite slim and nice looking. Anyone has the experience owning one yet? Your kind review would be very helpful.
Another thing is that can I get it from other websites in Asia? I live in Malaysia and that the only way to save on postal charges.
PLease advise.........thanks very much.

| They don't ship until June 30. I'll post a review when I get mine.

| Hey Axe,
Well, I don't have a TH55 yet... :-( soon! Anyway, I do have an SJ22 and a Sena case for it, and I love it! It's very slim, has plenty of room for my ID, credit cards, etc. So it's all I have to carry around. It also comes with a little drawstring carry-bag if you want to do it that way. They are a little pricey, but IMO I think they're worth it! For my next PDA, I'll probably either buy another Sena, or go with something that has some canvas on it, to amek the case a little lighter! Hope this helps!

Actually, the Sena case is only $29.99 with $4.99 shipping right now. Regularly it's an extra $10. That's not bad at all! Sena Case

| Damn! That's a major draw for TH55 users! The case is bigger than the one for SJ22, therefore more leather, yet it's still cheaper with their sale price right now! That's a great deal! If you have a TH55, you'd be crazy not to order a Sena case at $29.99!! :-) |

| Unless you're like me and don't like the jogdial access (it looks a bit cramped with the flap folded). Or that fact that the TH55 must be removed to switch Memory Sticks. That's why I like the Vaja and Bellagio designs. I'm siding with the Bellagio because it's $40. I plan on ordering one in the next few days...

| I dunno, I think the rear button access on the Bellagio looks more awkward. But I do think either the Sena or Bellagio is a bargain compared to Vaja.

| Guys, first of all thanks for your kind replies and feedbacks. That really makes a difference.
My only worry is that the Sena case is a flip back type for TH55 and when we open to use it, we will need to flip the case to the back. My question is; won't that block the camera which is located behind? We will need to see the screen and thats why we flip the case back; but what if we need to use the camera where we will also need to look at the screen?
This is the part which got me thinking twice whether to buy the case or not.
Can you guys advise? Thanks again.

| Well I've just pre-ordered the Sena case for my TH55. More detail will need to wait for me to receive it after the ship date (June 30). I'm a big Vaja fan, who regrets their decision to not provide an Ultra Clip option for the SO81 case. While I expect the leather and workmanship of the Sena case to be less than what I'd receive from Vaja, at least Sena had the forsight to add a belt clip option. |

| Anyone know if Sena has improved their cases? I got one for my NX70 about a year ago and after just a couple of months the edges started to peel, exposing a cardboard-like material underneath. I then went with a Bellagio case and have not looked back. |

| I had the Sena case for my T-665 and thought it was a great case except for one problem. If I kept 2 memory sticks in the provided pockets after a while the corners of the memory sticks started to leave wear marks on my T-665 screen. I don't know if this has been resolved in the TH55 model case. Just a thought...

| I just received my Vaja case. It only took 15 days from order date instead of the 30 days that the web site states. It was more expensive than the GlobalSource flip case that I had bought but the quality of workmanship is much better. I ordered it without any pockets on the inside of the cover because I too was worried about the screen being subject to wear. I feel the design is also better than most of the other ones on the market even if it comes with a heftier pricetag. Access and use of the jog dial and camera feature are better than on the GlobalSource case. I also appreciate the "play through design" which does away with the factory hard flip cover and the side profile is thinner than with most of the other cases that I researched. The only slight draw back that I feel is the obstruction to the memory stick access, which is not that hard to get to as it is just a snap fastner and flap. All in all the Vaja case is great case and highly recommend it |

I had the same happen to one of the first cases they released, which was for the NR70. Even though, I've ordered the Sena with the belt clip because it's about the only one out there with a clip. It'll be a handy case to use now and then. I'm just hoping they've improved the quality over the last year and a half too. |

| Guys,
I believe there is a big improvement at Sena's cases. I can tell by comparing my Sena TG50 and T665 cases. Here was what I thought when I received my TG50 case. It still looks like new:
"I just recevied my blue/black sena case. I think it is great. I used Sena's cases for my T665 and I was expecting the same quality from this case. It turned out that this case is much better than the T665 case. Great quality.
These are the things that the T665 case did not have but this one does:
1*The first thing I noticed is the edges. The edge of T665 case was painted and after 5-6 months' use someof the paint was coming out. TG50 case does not have any paint. The edges are folded in. This is a big plus for me. It looks very nice with blue black.
2*The belt clip is metal just like the Vaja ones. Looks classy.
3*Mesh screen at the speaker hole.
4*Last but not least. This case is much thinner than the T665 case. There is no extra padding." |
