| Question about files name changing Hi there,
I've try to change some files (.pdb) I download in my Mac, then copy them to the SD card by card reader, but WHY those files name I saw by Palm (T|T) remain UNCHANGE?
Thanks for your help. |

| I use windows but I think that understand what you are saying. If you change the file name of a pdb on your computer, that file name change will not be reflected on your palm. Load an application called Filez. Filez is a free file manager for the PalmOS. With Filez you can change the name and other attributes of pdb and prc files. Go to palmgear.com and do a search for "Filez".

I guess to be honest, I don't use McFile or Filez anymore. I have not been limited in function using ZLauncher. I do have a registere version of McFile that I used back in the days of my Visor Neo and CF MemPlug, but haven't had it loaded in a long time.
Is McFile still being developed? I might hunt for the latest version and see what the lates features have for it. I really do like McFile, in the day it was the absolute bomb of file managers. I think it may have been the first that really had an explorer like interface. I'll have to check it out.

| my favourite file manager is still "file manager" by bits n' bolts. minus the lack of filtering. Fileprog is amazing too.
