When I hot sync, I get the following error messages:

1)

-- Photos
- Could not copy the following record to the Handheld:
- Could not save the local database. Error Code 1116
Photos synchronization failed
Conduit Error: Unknown error. (1116)

2)
The setup on the handheld could not be updated because the PC does not have a hostname or IP address.


Any comments would be appreciated on how to resolve these. Last week, I was hot syncing no problem....

Try deleting/re-installing Photos from the original CD.

Try deleting/re-installing the Palm Desktop from the CD.

Your setup is a little unfamiliar to me as I run a Mac, but this would be a starting point.

Hi,
To fix the second error click on the hotsync icon in the system tray (by the clock on your PC desktop). Then uncheck network. That fixed it for me. Hope it works.

Yes, it's now been resolved, a mixture or re-installing software and tweaking things.
