T3 Digitizer Fix

So far all digitizer programmes can only calibrate at 320 x 320 including Palm's built-in digitizer. The common issue with T3s is that the digitizer may shift over time, making it impossible to tap at the Status Bar. Now there is a digitizer (320 x480) that can fix this while we all wait for PalmOne to come out with a fix. Calibrate with slider open.

Hi, this is the author again. Recently the T3 it seems suffer from some digitizer problem also. If you really have to use DigiE to solve your digitizer problem (at least temporarily until you get Palm to exchange the unit for you), try the following : 1. Install DigiE and run it as usual. 2. Perform the calibration. 3. Delete DigiE from your handheld 4. Perform a soft reset. Reports from users at palm user group forums have said that this will allow DigiE to solve the calibration problem, and yet overcome the "Auto-On" bug... My regrets that I have not the time to work on this bug to make it more convenient for everyone...

Note: Instead of deleting DigiE, you can move it to /Palm/Launcher then do a soft reset. That way, it won't interfere with Auto Sleep while still allow access whenever you need. it

Don't use this if you have NO digitizer issues

Question Status bar registry off T3 screen

After looking a bit at some of the digitizer/ screen problem threads, I used notepad in the T3 to draw horizontal lines. They all looked fine.

However, I have trouble selecting from the status bar. For instance, it is with great trouble that I drop the input box off the screen. It doesn't respond to my original touch, then when it does, I get the three input options instead of dropping the input box off the screen.

It sometimes seems that the actual status bar registration has shifted off the bottom of the screen itself. Any suggestions would be welcome.

(The main non-standard configuration I have is the use of cjkos to enable Chinese display on a palm purchased in the US.)

NOTE: the status bar responds well when the slider bar is closed/machine is in compact display mode.
