| Best software setup for your Palm OS5 device Hi guys...ive been a long time palm user and im planning to get a T3 this christmas (upgrade at last from my old workpad c3) so im scouting for software to get as early as now. Apart from this...im just curous on what is the best software setup is and i would like to know what all of you think.
Lets just say that price does not matter (lets just say that money is no object just so that we eliminate cost out of the picture to focus more on what software is the best irregardless of price)...i would like to know what software you would get for the following and why? (in other words...lets say i would like to see the best software setup possible. Interesting??? post away!  )
DOCUMENT HANDLING/EDITING: for word, excel
EBOOKS: reader and converter (doc or txt to pdb format)
EMAIL: email handling/attachment capabilities a must
FINANCIAL: budget, bank accounts, credit card (interest rate and factor rate functions built in)
WEB: offline/online web browser (well...more offline)
FILE MANAGEMENT: cleaning up uninstalls, moving files to SD and ROM, beaming to other devices, syncing and backup
PIM: replacement for datebook/to do if any. please indicate if you prefer default PIM apps even if given the budget
LAUNCHER: if any. please indicate if you prefer to stick with the default launcher.
UTILITIES: misc utilities that you need
MULTIMEDIA: MP3, video, picture viewer
did i leave anything out? i didnt put in games because people have diffrent tastes in games |

| DOCUMENT HANDLING/EDITING: Documents to Go, Quickoffice, Wordsmith (I'm a bit of a nut when it comes to office suites. I just love opening office applications, then closing them again. I use Documents to Go for almost everything, the others just look nice)

FILE MANAGEMENT: Filez and Zlauncher
PIM: Agendus
LAUNCHER: Zlauncher
UTILITIES: Splash ID, PowerOne Graph

WEB: Definately Plucker!
FILE MANAGEMENT: Filez & ZLauncher
PIM: Agendus
LAUNCHER: Zlauncher all the way!
UTILITIES: Thats up to your needs mate...however, DA launcher and battery graph should be on any Palm.
MULTIMEDIA: AeroPlayer for MP3's MMPlayer for video or Kinoma |

| Here's the ones I have comments on:
DOCUMENT HANDLING/EDITING: DTG comes with the T3, but also have Wordsmith & QuickOffice.
EMAIL: SnapperMail for mail on the go, Versamail (comes with the T3) for syncing to Outlook.
FINANCIAL: I use QuickSheet and powerOne Financial calculator
WEB: Offline - AvantGo, online - WebPro (comes with the T3)
FILE MANAGEMENT: Filez (freeware)
PIM: The built-in apps are pretty good. I use Datebk5, though.
LAUNCHER: ZLauncher
UTILITIES: BackupBuddy VFS, Crash, HandZipper, TimeCopy
MULTIMEDIA: MP3 - RealOne player comes with the T3 but I use PTunes. Pictures - I use the Photo ap that comes with the T3, also JpegWatch to handle jpegs attached to email

WEB: Don't know, don't use that...
FILE MANAGEMENT: FileZ, CleanUp and the ZLManager
PIM: Agendus, Memo Plus
LAUNCHER: Definitely ZLauncher!
UTILITIES: Dimmer (sets the backlight), CardExport (use your Palm as a cardreader, faster then hotsync), bTToggle (saves battery and manages bluetooth profiles)
MULTIMEDIA: RealOne or AeroPlayer for MP3, Kinoma for movies and SplashPhoto for pictureviewing

I just went over to PalmGear to take a look at this. Does this program use the additional fields in the T3 addressbook? If so, I would really like to check it out!
