| Orange, or Clear LEDS??? I was comparing my T3 to my NX80v and noticed that the LEDS are located at the top and bottom on the T3.
But on the NX80v they are on the sides.
I thought possibly this could be why the colors appear to be so much more vivid on the NX80v then the T3.
BUT I also noticed that the lower LEDS on the T3 are orange in color.
Does anyone else notice these orange lights at the bottom of you T3?
When you have a white background does your T3 have any discoloration, or inconsistent brightness towards the bottom of the screen?
Try looking at this with Tasks, or Memo's since you can have a clear white screen when the Memo Tasks is blank in Landscape, or Portrait.
Thanks

| I notice 2 white LEDS on top and 4 orange LEDS at the bottom but the consistency is even throughout.

| I should have said that there are 2 clear or white LEDS at the top and 4 Orange at the bottom.
Why the Orange color LEDS???
I would think that mixing Orange and a white app would make the screen yellow!?!?!!!

| The "word on the street" is that all of the lights are white, but when you look at the ones at the bottom, you are looking at them through an orange colored ribbon cable, thus they look like orange lights. |

That is incorrect. Some T3s come with the orange lights at the bottom, others dont. I know this first hand.
The screen is brighter with the orange lights than the white lights. |

| On closer look, I think Infonline may be right, because I see 4 white lights at the bottom but 4 orange light lower down (could be filtered through something).

| Strange why would they have a filter???
And orange on top of it.
It doesn't make any sense to me.

| I don't see any LED's or White lights? The NX80 was too contrasty and unnatural looking.
IMHO of course...

| The "different vendors" mentioned by Palm Support possibly meant the LCD screen including the backlighting panel. Could that explain the difference in brightness on some units?

| Plan has always had this problem with screens and manufacturing.
I remember when I bought my first m5xx series. The talk was that the USA manufactured units had a brighter screen with a bluish screen.
And the units made oversees had a dimmer pinkish tint.
Since the manufacturing did not mean they were sold in those markets all the different manufactured units showed up all over the states.
People were going out and reporting where they bought which, where.
It was nutz..
Sounds like things have not changed much in the past few years.
