| Yea, wouldn't expect Sony to help you out to much. I would post this in the developer section though on this board, someone there might be able to help you out. Good Luck!

| Right, unless Sony has a change of heart, you won't see it.

| I've posted this before, but... A Sony engineer has made it clear that the problem is with the vendor of the card. They neither have contractual permission nor the resources to teach people to write their own low level drivers. And Sony corporate doesn't see the business need. Maybe that'll change, but as long as they keep coming out with models that "trump" what Palm has to offer, they'll keep getting buyers and will see no need to require their vendors to publish their code/APIs.
Although Sony was stupid to sign such a contract with their vendor, I think the best route here is for someone to contact the vendor that makes the WL100 and WL110 cards and get on their case. Sorry, I don't know who this is (although I'm told that many have guessed correctly) as Sony is prohibited, by contract, to say. |

| I think what is needed here is for Sony to release the CF slot API.
I don't know about WL110, but WL100 is an Intel 2011B CF card.
And one can find 2011B Linux driver easily on the internet.
So, what is the missing link? CF slot API!

I might be missing something. Given that Eruware and Pelaca have been able to do some work with the CF slot, I'm under the impression that it's not a big secret. Or, rather, that some have figured it out w/o Sony's help. But maybe what's needed here is quite different... |
