| I don't know if this belongs here but...
to T3 users out there:
1. When you remove your T3 from the cradle do you often hear a snap from the universal connector like something might break?
2. At the universal connector, at the back of the unit, when you press on the casing just above the universal connector, does it creak? |

| The unit was defective. It seems the back portion wasn't properly installed hence the snapping sound everytime I remove it and the creaking noise.
My new unit doesn't have that problem anymore. |

| Has anybody figured out a way to assign buttons to the "left-, right- handedness" and switching from portrait to landscape mode and vice versa? |

| i mean, hard buttons.
I have the tendency to switch from left- to righthandedness and vice versa when reading an ebook. Such a hassle having to go out the reader and then going to preferences. |

| When using voice memo (internal - no card) how many recording minutes can one expect to be available (say with 45megs free)? Is there a particular SD card which has been pretty much error-free with the T-3?
How does the audio playback sound, is it reasonably good?
I remember seeing a (list) thread recently which sorta discussed the various stores and their return policies/attitudes, but now I cannot locate this thread.. Where is the best (walk-in) to buy my T-3, any recommendations to who is the most hassle-free if I encounter problems with my purchase? |

Well, this isn't much of a sample size, but I bought my m505 from Office Depot, found a defective SD slot and exchanged it a day or two later with no questions asked. I don't think you can get much better than that. Of course, I have no idea how they'd react if I wanted my money back because I decided it wasn't that great after all... |

I tried JackFlash Light on my Tungsten T3, and it crashes the PDA. Basically the PDA turns itself to a black screen and will not respone to any input. Soft reset doesn't work. It turns on the "Palm Powered" page and then turns it off. After hard reset, it seems to be ok before I sync it with my account. Once I sync it with my account, it resets itself and goes back to the black screen again.
Any idea how to fix this problem? Or shall I turn in the PDA for repair? |

| JackFlash is not compatible with the T3. A hard reset it the usual outcome. There's nothing wrong with your T3 on that account. We'll all have to wait from Brayder to support the T3. |

| So I bought a 256 sandisk sd online and it of course didnt work correctly, so I installed palm's patch, reformatted the card on my T3 and still it does not work correctly. The card will only accept MP3 files, and will not hold any other types of data. Also the T3 seems to move VERY sluggishly when the card is inserted, even if I am running aps that have nothing to do with the card. I havent yet had chance to try any other cards in the machine. Will replacing this card solve all these problems? Is the card defective? Any advice on this would be great. |

| I've the same problem months ago with my 505 and later with my Tungsten TT. All cards (I've tried 4) from Sandisk larger than 64 mega are destroyed when inserted in the two Palms. It seems that Sandisk cards larger than 64 méga won't work. A Lexar (build by Panasonic) work well from month. |

| I have a 512 Sandisk card that works fine... Although my first 256 Sandisk card was fried by the T3 (pre-patch) and never worked right again.

| I have a 256MB Sandisk card that has worked with three different T3's, both prior to AND after patching. (Why 3? I had one, exchanged it, returned the 2nd unit, then waited a while, when CC had them on sale I bought my 3rd.)
