| stream mp3 Let me add a bit to the earlier response, with no offense meant to Winexprt, because he is correct in his response.
Pocket Tunes will allow you to play an MP3 stream on your UX, however, you still need something to broadcast that stream from your computer.
Basically, you can use WinAmp (with the appropriate plugins), and the free Shoutcast server (available at http://www.shoutcast.com )
Suggest you read the instructions carefully, with regards to setting up and using the Shoutcast server. It can be a little tricky, although today it is better than it was a couple of years ago.
Good luck. |

| Good luck. Especially wireless unstable connection streaming a 700 MB + movie that would lag, pause, buffer, and might disconnect.

#10 | | Guest | i'd recommend backing up or at least Hotsyncing before installing the latest Pocket Tunes. The latest version has a nasty bug that causes errors on URLs launched from Netfront (other browsers possibly). i tried using it today to test out a new wireless connection i set up at a coffeehouse and it locked up my device, only to have it start up with a datamgr.c error every time i reset it. i had to restore from backup. Hopefully it's fixed soon as the previous version was great, and i don't know why i suckered myself into upgrading.
