| info about drivers hey everyone,
i've had my clie nx-60 for 2 yrs now, and have loved it until now. i need some help regarding reinstalling some drivers. i was on a flight last week, and took out my clie to listen to some music. i plugged in the headphones, tapped the AudioPlayer icon, and my clie froze up. i did a soft reset, tried again, and now it's saying,
"Missing Library. A software library required for this app is missing..." I also noticed that my VoiceRecorder is no longer working.
i searched this site, google, and the sony site for drivers, but i can't find anything.
PLEASE HELP!!! |

| Your problem sounds familar, i think so members in ClieSource also encounter this problem before. I did a search the solution might be:
You needed to load the new multimedia library which you can get from here: http://www3.telus.net/overcoil/SonyMMUtilLib.zip
"YOU MUST copy it to the memory stick first AND THEN copy it to ram (NO HOTSYNCING DIRECTLY TO RAM)." |

| thnx louiscorpio. i've got the SonyMMUtilLib.prc file on my MS, and i'm trying to move it into my Clie's RAM. however, from the Clie Files app, it won't let me move the file out of the MS, just into different directories of the MS. how do i move this file into the Clie's RAM? |

| I'm having the same problem as Pchun. I downloaded the (mini's?) audioplayer thing. but I'm getting the 'missing library' alert. I tried to delete SonyMMUtilLib from handheld, but it's read-only, so that of course doesn't work. I hotsynced the .prc to my MS, but cannot move it to handheld. Again, of course. Short of a hard reset, is there anything I can do to regain use of audioplayer? |

| you could always make a backup
then place the library in the backup folder
then hard reset and restore

| the library is already both in handheld and on MS as it is. and wouldn't a hard reset/backup just return everything back the way it is now, with audioplayer not seeing the library? |
