Thumbs up Sony TH55 review (Internet Magazine)

I've just posted up a copy of the TH55 review I wrote for this month's Internet Magazine (UK).

I liked the thing so much, I went out and bought one so it's a bit of a glowing review!

Incidentally, the review is in the last ever issue of Internet Magazine which has now folded for good.

The mag has been going since 1994 and I'll miss it - before I started writing for them I always used to buy it, and it's a shame to see such a quality magazine go under.

Annoyingly, we were just starting to cover more Palm based topics, so also in the magazine is my four page 'Pam Photo Blogging' article.

I'm starting to add more of my articles to my website before the Internet Mag website disappears into the ether, so if people are interested, I'll add the Blogging tutorial too.

urban75,

Excellent review!

Just 2 minor corrections, though.

#1 - You said at the start of the article that the TH55 included WiFi and Bluetooth. You did not mention that only the European versions have Bluetooth. Since it appears that you are writing for a European magazine, this is understandable. However, for the benefit of the rest of the world, it would be nice to have that noted.

#2 - In the multimedia section, you noted that the TH55 could be made to record movies if a copy of the UX50 movie recorder was loaded. This will also work with a copy of the NX73, NX80, or UX40 movie recorder file as well - I am using an NX80 file with no problems.

Other than those (VERY minor) errors, it's a great article! Thanks for the post!

Best wishes,
Bawko

Agree with the Chicken; Excellent review! Those minor "corrections" won't sway any of MY potential converts!

Couldn't agree more.

Cheers for the positive feedback!
I've now updated the review and included a link back to this forum.

Excellent review! 123 MHz processor is supported by a separate graphic processor. Love my TH55!
