hey.. It has been 3 months since the release of TH-55.. and Palm already released the new Zire.. any idea when will we see a first price drop for this unit?
I am from Canada.. TH-55 is extremely expensive.. CAN$600, which is almost US$450. Other retails stores selling the same price as Sony Store.. we don't have cheaper online store selling this like you fellows in the States... I almost want to come down to buy one.. but the customs and warrently hold me back.
Please drop a notes if you have any expectation on a price drop.
It has ONLY been 3 months, and demand is good. I wouldn't expect to see a price drop for at least 6 months. I'm certain anybody that knows for sure cannot say.
One other thing to look at is rebates. Office Depot in the US had $100 off any PDA $299 on up. Also, Dell has a 10% plus $35 off now (see Techbargains.com). I don't know if the translate to Canada but may be woth checking out. Good luck.
hey.. someone just said on another thread there may be a new Clie coming in a month or 2.. I just hope that also mean a price drop once the new Clies comes
