I can't seem to get connected to my wireless router.
It is set to basic. DHCP enabled, no security. And still it doesn't work. I have set the SSID in clié, no WEP key , DHCP.
When I look at the status, I only see the SSID and AP BSSID: not connected. The rest is blanc.
When I try to connect or to scan , my UX does nothing.
It just says connecting ... or scanning ... but nothing happens.
When I try to cancellel ux50 is blokked and have to reset.
Can Anyone tell me what wrong?
How can I see the WLAN is working at all ?
when I received my 802.11b router (make sure it isn't a g) I just plugged it into my cable connection and into the back of my computer. I did absolutely nothing and it synced up with the UX right away. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I would call the WLAN manufacturer and trouble shoot with them.
Also, you can cancel out a UX issue by going to a Starbucks or Panera bread and hook yourself up to their wifi location. This will rule out a UX problem and then you can focus on the router.
