Would hard reset be an option? Who knows when the machine boots up from a hard reset, the option to change language could be given...

NZ90/E are like that, since they are loaded with some european languages... worth a shot anyway...

There are no other languages avaliable in JP NZ90, maybe some PDA shops can help you to change the ROM for you, but for normal user, it is not possible (as no JackSprat support).

If you don't know Japanese, then you should not buy JP version...

No I don`t agree, anyone can learn the Japanese OS system. I did and many others have............................I say if you want a Japanese OS palm buy it. I had a few different ones and I never had a problem.

I just mean, if you don't know Japanese and won't learn it, it is better not to buy JP version. Maybe I didn't say clearly.

If you read the forums (not only here, also for other web sites), you can see a lot of users asking about "how to change JP OS to EN?". Such question means they don't know Japanese and WON'T learn it... In such case, of course EN version is much bettter than JP.... That's my point.

I understood what you meant, but that never stops people from buying Japanese Clies. Sure I read many times people changed the OS from japanese to english. But a few desided to learn Japanese instead of changing the OS which at times is a bad move.

You think I can stop people to buy JP CLIE? I haven't such "power"... I just suggest people who don't know Japanese and WON'T learn Japanese, this is better to not buy JP version. This will make a lot of troubles.

As CLIE is a PDA (equipment for your life), user need to decide which is best and sutiable for them. If don't know and don't want to learn Japanese, I can say JP version is not suitable for them. If someone can handle or have motivation to learn, then JP version can be a choice for them.

Pls don't just see my msg and then say something I didn't mentioned. I replied my adivse for king_edw in this case. For other people's question, my answer maybe totally different.

Sorry for my rough post.
