| Flash ROM SJ33 Hello! I'm the new here.
I have SJ33 about a year, and really, till now, I don't know what device I would like to have instead of it.
On my opinion SJ33 is still the best for it's price/possibility/battery-life (still 8 hours in 'reading-mode' after a year - it's good for me!).
The only thing I can not understand - does it have the FLASH ROM? If it has - can I use any software to "reburn" ROM and delete some programs I never used - CardInfo for example and input some programs I use very often - UniCMD for example?
Thank you!! |

| I have - I deleted almost 2.6MB of data from the ROM with JackSprat, then added with JackFlash. That entailed removal of the PIM apps - I use a replacement. Of course, there are some apps that one does not need a second thought to replace (like Clie Demo
It works quite well!

Hang on to that SJ33. You can get all the accessories for a reasonable price on eBay if you don't already have them, the battery is user-replaceable (I would replace that battery in the next 6 months if I were you), and with the employer crackdown on PDAs with cameras in many places, chances are good that you can still use it at your place of business, or those of your clients.

#6 | | Guest | Jackflash doesn't recognize my SJ33 as being supported. It says that "This device doesn't use flash memory"
Any ideas? | |

| Thank you for info! It is really very important thing - to have the spare battery for SJ33! Do you mean it is possible to buy the new "B-8617" battery? Seems exactly this one is placed in SJ33? |
