Before my AmbiCom cf wifi goes back...

Being WI FI challenged, before I return my Ambicom wl1100-cf to circuit city ($69.00)and buy the sony w110($89.00), is it a fact that on my Sony nx80 there are no drivers that I can download to use on my nx80.?

Thanks, Stan

Afraid it's true.

On the flip side, I paid $149 for my 110.

Thanks..and one more thing..

Thanks for the courtesy of a quick reply. I'll return my $69.00 special and get the Sony for $89.00. BTW was their a post for the proper way to configure the sony wifi, or are the instructions that come with the card clear...REAL CLEAR..

pretty clear.
just install the driver from cd to Clie.
go to PREFS, select Network on the upper right drop down menu, choose Network.
Now, Service should pop up, make sure Wireless Lan is selected.
Goto, Details, create a new profile and name it. Try "ANY" as the SSID, WEP is set to None and make sure Connect Mode is Infrastructure. Under Advanced Setup, make sure Power Save Mode is NOT enabled.

Those are my settings.

If you are using a Router on your home setup and have it set with an SSID, replace "ANY" with whatever you have chosen on the Router.

Give it a try.

Jay
