Exclamation Margi (MS version) does not support TH55

Have just upgraded from T675 (uk) and am pretty happy, looks great, fits my old cradle, lots of RAM, really nice screen, Camera, Bt (bluejacking on train to london very amusing on april 1st) and WiFi (when i get it working)

BUT have a Margi Adaptor for the MS (£150) running on Presenter to go. Worked pretty well on the old clie, clunky but nice resolution, and sooo convenient, especially as i insist on cycling to work; it IS NOT compatable with the TH55. i have been in touch with margi and they claim that sony is not giving them the sofware support that they need, something to do with the Lib Mal files. Now, this was a really useful piece of kit, has anyone any ideas or heard of any solutions???

perhaps if you are interested you might email sony as i am about to and suggest that this, if true, seems a little short sighted

I agree with this!! I so wanted to get the presenter to go kit, but gave up when they told me they were not compatible with any of the new machines.

Can't you just jack the Lib Mal files from your old Clie? I am just asking...some of this stuff is way over my head.

no I've tried that, the problem seems to be the MS Pro slot. Presumable it requires different drivers.
It is these that margi claim Sony are reluctant to let them have. Therefore Margi can't make their equipment work
This is very frustrating as
I) i Paid 150 squid for the dongle
II) I suspect that with the right drivers it would make the 55 almost perfect, apart from CO...Oh and the toothpick

Yes it would make it perfect if the dickheads from Sony and Margi could learn how to communicate (and about the fact that they kind of have customers too).

Hi, I've a TH55 and I want to buy a _cheap_ way to show TH55's screen on VGA (PC) or Composite Video (TV) ... I'm looking for a Powerpoint type application and device (Cable).

Thanks in advance,
