I have heard a ton of these stories , usually in asking how to properly dry the poor vistim of the dunking!
The best advice I can give for all of us "loo users" is to keep the PDA at arms length, NOT over the bowl!!! And for the love of Gob, do NOT lean over the bowl to flush unless you have one hand over the pocket with the PDA in it!
Now relax and enjoy your....hum....PDA | |

| My, my...my Clie is too precious and pricey to end up in the bowl or washing machine or anywhere which would cause the death of it.
I just have a tot yesterday abt what I will do with my old Clie when I get new one such as TH55. I know I will hand my SJ33 down to my BF. That means I need to take care of the SJ30 he is using now...I tried to sell it but nobody wants it (if they have to pay for it). I guess over here, everybody wants it NEW (incl. myself)!
Oh well, may be it will just be my Alarm Clock and Gameboy beside my bed.

| Nope, don't do it. I agree with fssia, it's just too darn risky. Plus, I have never understood reading in the bathroom. It's just not a pleasant place and I want to get in and out as quickly as possible.. |

| Amber, b4 becoming a proud owner of a Clie, I read comics, novels or whatever while in the joint at home. Now I read ebooks sometimes but mostly play games while in the joint. I guess I'm so restless that going to the joint is a waste of time if I dun do something while I'm at it.
But I won't do that if I have to visit the public joints...I just can't wait to get out of there or I will just quickly rush home.

| Try to do that in a chinese public bathroom, the photos are so gross that I don't think they are suitable for this website, but if anyone is interested. And anyway my complexion doesn't allow me to squat completely so everytime I go to a public one the least thing I think about is to take the Clie out.

| halo_gps, I have been to a few public loo in Yunnan! I totally agree with u that they aren't pleasant places where u would wanna take out ur Clies. Btw, ur English is very good, so why do u think u need to improve? Of course, there is always room for improvement for everyone.
ClieKun, I think I get this habit off my dad, lol! He spends hours in the loo reading.

Thanks , but some SoB in a Minidisc forum really pissed me of. He was saying something like only natural speakers should be able to post because he wasn't able to understand what a guy from cameroon was posting. So I decided to add those lines in all my signatures.
BTW, the loo is a place where some persons can get away from their beloved ones
