It is very possible, but definitely a non-trivial operation, esp. if you're not too confident with taking stuff apart...

The 665 digitizer is very difficult to remove. I don't think I'd even attempt trying to take one off of an existing unit. Rather, I would buy a screen that's already off the unit, such as from gethightech.com.

It would actually be easier to remove the LCD from your existing unit and put it on the frame of another unit whose digitizer is intact. However, the digitizer is connected to kind of a frame that includes the electonic portion of the buttons, connectors, etc. and if you're dealing with a used unitt, there can sometimes be problems with those parts even though the digitizer is intact and functional.

Bottom line is, make sure you research it well before you try to attempt it yourself. I've replaced at least 20 screens on old Palm III and Palm V units and those screens are easy to replace. The 665/615 units however are not.

By the way, the 665 and 615 digitizers are interchangeable, but the frames they're mounted on are not.
