TJ37 wireless problem

I recently purchased a TJ37 and am having problems with accessing the internet through my wireless network. I have a Dell wireless router 1184 with an ethernet connection to my Dell desktop and cable modem (Cox ISP) and a Toshiba laptop with a wireless card. I have been able to perform wireless hotsync, but when I try to access the internet, it connects fine, but as soon as I enter a web page address, I get the message "Invalid Network Settings." No problems with either the desktop or laptop internet access. Sony tech help has been unable to solve the problem, and has implicated my wireless router as the problem. I have also contacted Dell and updated the firmware. I know from other threads that other owners have had similar problems. I am reluctant to go out and buy a new wireless router, not knowing which one will work for sure. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,

Have you tried disabling the "Power Save" mode?

My Clie wouldn't connect reliably with a D-Link router I own until I did this.

Hope this helps,

Hi,

Are you connecting using DHCP? Either way, if you can Hotsync, you know the network is working... you could try entering the DNS servers manually.

Does browsing to http://216.239.51.104 work for you? (google)

I tried with my Linksys AP and failed. After I disabled the powersave mode, it worked perfectly.
