| Can you use it horizontaly? Isn't the fact that the infrared receiver is on the upper right side an issue? |

The keyboard itself->Yes but it needs a flat surface. Quote:

No, the arm can move enough to the right. |

#6 | | Guest | Sony Keyboard needs power? I went to Sony's support site and looked up the PDF documentation on the keyboard... http://www.iq.sony.com/srvs/sosdocs/default.asp (search for PEGAKB100)
It gave me a PDF of the one page installation instructions that I assume ships with the beast.. it says... "If necessaray, you can connect the AC power adapter to this compact keyboard. Use the AC power adapter supplied with your CLIE' handheld.
"For details on how to operate or type with this compact keyboard, click [ViewManual] on the menu screen of the CD-ROM..."
I'm assuming that the power adapter is not "required" but rather can be used to charge while you type.... It would be nice to have someone verify this... | |

Check out best buy as they are clearing out their pda stocks and was able to grab this for 39.95 . Always sticking with sony, sony camera, sony pda, sony keyboards . | I'm a Belkin KB user. I have the G700 foldable keyboard. I had it when I owned the T665C and was very happy to see it work with the TH55 (with the driver hack that ignar(?) made). I haven't really extensively used it yet with my TH55, though it is nearing time as I have some reports to do soon enough. But in the short time I do use it, it works like a charm.

| Keyboard works great, only thing is you can't hold down shift and use the arrow keys to hightlight and delete, instead you have to use the stylus to highlight, but in everything else it will highlight as you hold down shift and use the arrow keys. |

| $9.99 at BB
I did a search for any discussions dealing with a keyboard for the TH55 and was reminded of your lead about the BB deal. I called our local BB (for me, local is Spartanburg---30 miles away) and was told they had one KB100 in stock for $9.99. I gave the sales representative the model number again and he laughed, repeating that it was $9.99. Long story short: I just got home with my $9.99 KB100.
Incredible!

| KB100 works. LupeValenz: It all works for me. I just need to get accustom to the new keyboard. This was typed on keyboard and viewed on Clie mobil e website. I paid full price at CC because I did not want to search around. Nice to see someone getting the great deal . $9.99 is outrageous but ... Enjoy the TH55. The shift keyboard on the right is a bit hard to get use to. BTW, the <shift>+<arrow> highlight text for me. |
