| Bugme! on TH55 When I copied my Bugme.db from my 665 to my TH55, all of my memos were ZOOMED in to the point where I could only see the upper left sixth of the memo. When I create new memos, they are fine.
Has anyone successfully migrated their bugme memos from their 665 to their Th55?
Thanks! |

| The Clie Organizer Free Notes is WAY better than BugMe. Here are it's advantages:
1) BugMe has a lot of bugs on OS5, including running very slow and sometimes losing part of it's drawing when the VG is moved up and down.
2) FN has a selection of 256 background colors vs 6 or 8 for BugMe.
3) FN can be dragged onto CO Datebook and assciated with appointments and todos.
4) Voice memos and pictures can be dragged onto FN.
5) FN has a smart eraser, so hitting any part of a line erases the whole line - with BugMe, you have to erase every pixel.
6) FN seems to write "smoother". Hard to explain, but it seems that way to me.
7) If you use FN, you don't waste any RAM space.
The only advantage I can think of for BugMe is that it allows repeatable alarms, which is definitely nice!! But it's bugs were so bad that I got rid of it on my OS5 device a long time ago, preferring the non-high-res+, non-color DiddleBug, since at least DiddleBug worked, and I'm far from the only one who made that move. So, having Free Notes is incredible - it's what BugMe should have been!! |

| Except that BugMe! has a very easy method for saving what you draw on the desktop as an image file. You can do it with FN, but you have to go through a several step process.
Speaking of the smart eraser, is there anyway to just erase specific pixels like in BugMe - both methods have their benefits.
BugMe also has the screen capture feature.

Hey. To re-visit this issue...I am totally missing my BugMe! I have tried several times to use FN, but I still maintain that it is not easy to use.
- The alarms take too many steps to set and they are not able to set based on 'time from now'.
- It creates new docs way too often, by accident
- No timestaping on doc
- No thumbnails
- Just NOT intuitive and streamlined, the way BugMe! was/is (BM is good for the quick notes and alarms)
Granted, FN has smooth drawing and nice erase features, but riht now, I find myself not using anything for notes, as opposed to FN. I can't get into it.
PLEASE PLEASE, if you're reading...Give us a functional BugMe! on the TH55!!
Thanks! |

When was the last time BugMe was updated..? 2 years ago? Good luck
FN does have a thumbnail view by the way. If I were you, I would play around a little more with FN, and see if you can make it work the way you like instead of waiting for BugMe.

BugMe was updated last in the middle of January of this year. They are pretty good with keeping up to date. It is very odd that something for the TH55 has not come out yet.
Is EVERYONE who was using BM using FN now? Any OTHER suggestions? |

| Oh, really? I was not aware of that. Like rldunn, I stopped using BugMe because it really wasn't working well on my OS5 device and I've waited quite sometime for an updated version, then gave up on it. But I am glad to hear that development on it seems to be ongoing.

| I ditched bugme a long time ago --- I like free notes much better, the only thing I don't like about free notes is that every time you click on the tab, it starts a brand new sheet.

| This does not happen to me. I get the same view I exited the last time - either the thumbnail view or the last sheet I had open. Maybe a preference setting?

| Hey, FreeNotes won my (reluctant) allegiance for 2 reasons. It allows two screens as compared with BM's one. And, I can futz an alarm for a ToDo by attaching a FreeNote. But that scrollable notes deal is THE deal-maker for me! |

| Allows two screens? Do you mean the main view, and the thumbnail view? I wish FreeNotes let you take longer page notes.
