Has anyone had luck using AIM 1.1 or 1.2 with the NX80V? Both version 1.1 and the beta 1.2 version I found on the old palmaim yahoo group crash my device every time I run them, although they both worked fine on my old NX70V. I'm just curious to find out whether the pay version of AIM 1.2 *does* work on the NX80V, before I waste my money only to find out it also crashes the thing.
IT works fine on my 73 except whenever I have to soft reset. I get a fatal error that forces me to warm reset so I can delete AIM

I personally do not think $20.00 worth it for such a piece of crap software. You can get it for free off AOL UK's site but yet AOL thinks they can screw Americans of thier money on thier site.
in order to use that AIM for my nx80... do you need to have an AOL subscription? because all i have is an aim screenname but not a subscription where AOL is your main internet server...thanks
