| What a nice guy came to rate the thread ;
I just found some more infos on palminfocenter whereit'd been posted earlier : Quote:
Essentially, this app remaps the TH55's buttons and it's just about usable, although the on-screen text is garbage.
1. When the camera lens cover is closed, the shutter release button can be used as a power button -- first tick box in the app.
2. The Voice Rec button can be remapped as a HotSync button -- doubly useful, since there's no cradle button to initiate a HotSync and I keep hitting Voice Rec instead of power (which is where #1 helps too) -- second tick box in the app. There's a choice of cable HotSync or Mobile too.
3. There's an option that allows the 4th TH55 button to be remapped but I can't figure out how this works. No biggie, I have it mapped to HiLauncher anyway.
4. There seems to be an option to display a warning if you power off with the lens cover open. Can't figure this one out either though.
This is a nifty little app that's worth it for 1. and 2. alone, I think, and you don't need to understand Japanese to use these bits. An English version would be nice though

| Thanks for the heads up. Feature 1 is definitely great. Now I'm all excited about potentially new apps. |

autotranslation doesn't help much.... Quote:
New software "THe Go! Go! " was exhibited. (04.2.20)
It is the utility (although it is a convenient accessories grade ....) of CLIE PEG-TH55 exclusive use. |

| Hmm, the links to the pics Rokugo posted are both dead. Can you repost them or maybe another of our Japanese friends can download the app and translate. Thanks!

| Rokugo, thanks so much for those screenshots!! This is so useful!!
Can you translate the first menu for us? Seems like the top 5 things don't do anything, but I want to make sure of that. Thanks again!! |

| rldunn: you're right, the first menu doesn't do anything.
Its actually the JP version of a standard Palm "Edit" menu, ie Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Select All, etc. Notice the familiar shortcut strokes to the right of each item?
Chime-san (the programmer) probably just forgot to delete it. |

| What is the effect of "warn me when I forget to close the lens cover"? I assume this means when you switch the power off. It doesn't appear to work for me.

| I think this app screwed up the camera application after a soft reset. When I slide the camera lens cover open I get an exception and have to reset. After removing this app it still happened. |
