Help! Can someone test dual sync capability?

Hello. I'm looking for some help from someone who already has a TH55 in their hands. A few of us are worried about syncing data from the new Clie Organizer into Outlook (or any other 3rd party app).

Can someone do a few tests and let us know the results? Our current understanding is that IntelliSync Lite is included and that you can sync the PIM apps to Outlook. Standard fare there. This will not get you the scribbles, notes, and multimedia embedded in Clie Organizer. We all know that and that makes sense.

In order to get all the extras we must sync to Clie Organizer for PC. That makes sense.

So the question is, can we sync to both? Can we send the "normal" textual information in our calendar to (and from) Outlook and then also sync ALL the info to Clie Organizer for PC? Can both conduits be configured and used at the same time?

The manuals are very fuzzy on this question. We need someone to actually try it out for real. This would be a big help.

I guess another option would be to set to sync with Clie Organizer and just import all your Outlook meetings into Clie Organizer before a sync. Can someone also look into the Import capabilities of Clie Organzier for PC? Does it get all of Outlook's fields (location, attendees, notes, file attachments)?

Thanks!

Seconded

Sigamy - a very concise summary of the confusion to date. Well put!

Update

More gris to the mill ...

The picture on page 134 of the TH55 manual shows seperate conduits in hotsynch for the new PIM.

So you've the following:

DateBook
Address Book
To Do list
Memo Pad

and

CLIE Organizer MmData <--- is that multimedia data
CLIE Organizer FNotes <--- Free notes
CLIE Organizer Address <--- Obvious - but is it a copy "Address Book"?

CLIE Organizer Datebook <--- Ditto

So you can set up the conduits to point to different PC applications - but we've still the problem of not knowing if the "CLIE organizer Datebook" is a mirror of the Address book.
