jog dial help please!

on my old T415, I got to where I could do about all my common tasks just by using the jog dial. With the old OS at least, if you held in the "back" button for a second or 2, the menu bar at the top of whatever app you were in would pop down, then you could navigate the menu via the jog dial. With my new TH55, this trick doesn't work anymore. The "back" button seems to always take you back, no matter how long its held down. Is there are preference somewhere that I'm missing? Any hacks to remedy this?

Have you tried holding down the long silver jog, or the left shortie or right shortie ? I ask because I pretty much ignored them til someone here pointed it out to me.

(top rear of device-- 2 short silver bars, one long one in the middle-- middle one twirls up and down as well and also reacts to presses, depending on the app you're in)

No, there's nothing to get this feature back - one of the things that went away with the move to OS5.
