| Well, of course you can put DOS onto your PDA. The problem is, of course, that your PDA has all different input and output devices than a PC. DOS does stand for Disk Operating System, you know. So, someone would have to rewrite almost all the routines to deal with memory cards instead of disks.
It's not just a simple matter of porting DOS. It would be a lot of work for someone. I've not heard of anyone doing that yet.

| I to am very interested, I run an old version of Q&A for my company, and a dos emulator would be icing on the cake. I would gladly pay anyone a reasonable fee, if they could send me a program that will run it.

| Here is a thread about an 8086 emulator that is out. Still very limited, but in the future it could possibly run DOS for you.

| Your best bet might be to try and locate an old HP LX-200, HP OmniGo 100, or similar unit. These were popular back before the Palm and in the days of Psion. I've got a HP OmniGo 100 and it was built in 1995. The LX series was better, clamshell in design, and a great built in keyboard. The LX series ran DOS and they were so popular because a lot of old DOS programs were still available. Engineers loved them, as did DOS programmers.
BTW: The LX series were called "palmtop computers" because of the DOS. They are a little larger than the biggest clamshell Clies, but still small and portable.

| You guys rock. I am suprised that so many will step up to help such an obvious NOOB like myself. I am so new, I dont even have a FM TR!
(it took me a day to figure that out, btw. ha ha ha, joke on me)
I dont have enough cheques to send to all of you guys, but I am serious, if even 1 of these work, someone is getting a present in the mail, or paypal. Kudos to you all.
Ken
I have little to offer regarding PDA's, but if any of you are into Snowmobiling, Atv'ing, Biking, r/c helicopters, or anything I can offer, I am a dealer for all the above.
