| Documents to Go v6 file selection question I upgraded to Documents to Go v6 on my Clie NX-60. Now when I go into DTG, it not only finds the internal files that I have synched to the Palm, but all of the files I have backed up to my stick using BackupBuddyVFS. This is very annoying since in many cases I have two copies of each file that are displayed. In some cases, I have files that are in backup that I have deleted from the DTG program that show up in the listing. Does anyone know of a way to get DTG to only show files that are in main memory or limit its searching of the stick to a certain directory? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave |

I'm not understanding the question.
My Understanding:
1) D2G is finding documents in RAM
2) D2G is not finding documents you have backed up with BUB
My Solution:
For native files put them in the "Documents" folder, for non-natives they belong in the Palm/Programs/DXTG folder |

| I'm sorry--I wasn't clear enough. What is annoying me about DTG6 is that, in addition to finding the files in RAM, it is listing the files in my BUBVFS directory on my memory stick. I only want it to list files in RAM. If I can't just limit to RAM, then I would like to limit its searching to certain directories on the stick, like the directory that Tixx mentioned. |

I'm actually not sure why that is happening. Do you have your D2G preferences set to "Include in global find"? Don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Do you have under preferences "Always search for supported files when opening Documents to Go" checked too?
I would uncheck them both and see. |

| Tixx--thanks for your help. When I couldn't find one of the preferences you mentioned, I realized that I didn't have the latest version. I downloaded 6.005 and deselected the prefs you mentioned and problem is fixed!!!
Thanks,
