| I made an 8086 emulator for Clie. I made an emulator for Intel 8086 processor,It runs on Clies for now,and supports only a few assembly directives.I plan to develop it that it can emulate most games/programs written in 80s.
I need feedback from you.

| My first real computer was 8088 based.
Does this mean it will run DOS and DOS apps?

Spikesdacoolest, |
most of programs running on DOS uses Interrupts(to display gfx, text etc...),which px86 currently emulates here,So theoretically if I emulate function of each Interrupt and Operand it is possible to emulate DOS apps. There is no nedd to emulate DOS, the emulator is designed to take the function and role of DOS in itself. However there are some *possible* problems/limitations:
1- there is a huge list of Interrupts,so it will take some time to add all functionality.
2-most programs may use some exceptional style of coding which cannot be emulated directly.
3-8086 is designed for 1 mb RAM real mode programming,If I cannot find a way to shrink memory usage,The emulator will require hi-end palms/clies,which is something I really don't want.
Anyway,wait for updates..thanks for feedback.

| I can't wait to try it, but I don't think I have any COM executables of less than 2K sitting around anywhere.

| It's only a demonstration for now and can't do anything more than printing text.,I'm currently increasing number of directives & functions it supports.
