#1 | | Guest | UX50 or something else? Ok I am looking to purchase the UX50. The only other Palm I've had is the m130. Anyway, before I go spend my hard-earned money on the UX50 (I'm only 15, so I'll have to work extra long to save up enough), can anyone please tell me if it is a good PDA? I've heard mixed reviews. I've been drooling over it for weeks, but I want to know if I'm getting my money's worth. My current PDA is an iPaq 3850. For my next PDA, I want to be able to watch movies, browse the web (I have 802.11b in my house), record quick videos with a camera, play games, do Word and PowerPoint, and have Bluetooth to connect with my Sony Ericsson T616, and of course, show it off at school . The UX50 looks like the perfect PDA for me, but I want some opinons. I'm a big geek, so I want the best that suits my needs and then some. Thanks in advance! | |

| I think you should get it, sounds like pretty much everything it excels at is what you're looking for.
I've loved having mine since day one and it would take a real big advancement to pull me away from this one. |

| I agree, I have had Palm Vx, Palm 515, Handspring Visor Edge, HP Jornada, Tunsten T2, Sony TG50. The UX50 is, despite everything negative that has been and will be said about it, a great handheld. I really love it and I don't want to be without it. |

| It sounds like the UX50 is right for you. It has everything you have listed and then some. I bought mine on the release date and have never regret it. It is by far the best PDA out there so far. The keyboard is my favorite part of it, because it is mobile but still very usable. I love mine and would highly reccomend it. |

| There arent many great games on the PalmOS as there are on the PPC. What the UX50 goes beyond ALL other PDAs is its form. Otherwhise its not a too big of a master PDA...

| Get it I have the Sony Ericsson T616 and the UX-50 and its great. I used it when I went to amsterdam. The Sony Mobile Manager auto configures the UX-50 connection. It took me a while to get it going because no one at Cingular knew what to do. But thanks to this forum I am up and running. |
