Basically after installing Outlook 2003, hotsync crashes if Versamail (V2.5) sync (conduit) is enabled.
To be honest I can get things to sync w/o a crash if no changes need to be made on either side. On the other hand say a email is deleted on the UX side, the PC's hotsync will hang or outright crash just after syncing the deleted email.
I guess I should also point out that I'm using PocketMirror.
I am using PocketMirror and Outlook 2003 and I think you have to install PocketMirror-update after which it will work with Outlook 2003. I am not sure whether this will solve your problem.....

Yup the PocketMirror update corrects issues with contacts, notes and calender.
Versamail on the other hand uses its own conduit, not part of the PocketMirror package. Thus my guess is that Versamail is not compatible with Outlook 2003, even if it uses what should be a well documented interface that has existed to Outlook / Exchange for many years.
Note that Outlook 2003 represents the first significant change to Outlook in a number of generations, including the internal file format used by Outlook.
I have been reading on Palm's discussion forums about this matter. It appears that Palm released a patch for their T3 / E Outlook conduits which resolves sync'ing VersaMail with Outlook 2003.
Those of use w/o a T3 or E conduits (e.g. their CDROM) are out in the cold at this point. In addition it would appear that Palm has no current plans to release this capability for other systems. It is strange that Palm would consider this point to be a competitive advantage WRT other handhelds such as Clie....
How about Outlook Express mails....
I am using Outlook XP before and back then I can still sync my mails thru Outlook Express and Versa Mail. But now since I have upgraded to Outlook 2003. My mails from Outlook Express can't go to my Clie. I have set Outlook Express as my default mail but it seems not to work.
Help mates!
