#1 | | Guest | Hotsync and recharging cable in Ebay Do they really work? Will they damage the battery in anyway? I'm reluctant to buy one but at the prices they offer on ebay it's hard not to take a second look......

They work fine as long as it's your version.
I got one at COMPUSA for $15 once, but I think it was mislabeled.
It's the best thing if you happen to travel. |

| The one I have works just fine. Yeah it takes a little bit longer but I can charge my clie over USB, Wall, or in the car with the charger package that I bought. |

| Yes I've had the cable from gomadic for months. In fact after sending the prior post today I bought a second one to keep at work. It is solid and it has a sync button. I searched for a sync and charge cable with a button because it makes syncing so much easier. This one has a light to show when data is being transmitted too. |
