| CIC Word Complete wordcomp I have CIC Word Complete - a hold over from my purchase of the Jot / Word Complete package from my old SJ33. I see no reason to use Jot as Graffiti 2 is about the same.
I was using Word Complete but it seems to have problems with some applications - causes a RESET or just acts funny.
Anyone else using it or know how to make it work? Or do I have to use something else?
Thanks |

| I prefer TextPlus, if you're looking for alternatives.

| I'll try the demo but I don't really feel like spending more money since I already bought CIC |

| I tried the demos of a handful of similar programs on my UX50, and I found that WordComplete was definitely the best IMHO. I didn't have any problems with it such as you describe whatsoever with the range of apps I use. (I did use mainly the keypad to operate it.) Are you using the latest download, though???
I liked this program a great deal, but conceded I was fine without it, as I've got quick on the thumbkeys and it really just gets in the way (albeit elegantly). Good luck. |

| I used WordComplete quite a bit on my old Clie, but with the UX 50 I found that it caused a fatal error / reset situation everytime I used NetFront. I haven't tried it in a couple of months. I'd really like to use it again if they've fixed that bug. What version are you using? |

| Aha! I didn't use NetFront while I had it installed, as it happens. I'm not sure what version it was - I've removed it and can't see the version details but the demo was WordComplete303 and the file is dated Jul 31, 2003. Sorry if my feedback was not so helpful. I did like the program though. . . (but I don't use it. . .?) |

| Just installed WordComp 3.1 and have not had any NetFront crashes yet. I can't say I've "stress tested" it, but so far, so good! WordComp is a great app, especially if I don't have to turn it off/on to use NetFront.
