Actually, is it that there are 2 types of NX Rom (Jap & Eng) only?

At the graffiti area where the keyboard icon is pressed, is there any font/program that can display the weird character(Jap Font) to Jap Character in Eng Rom?

Can you change the buttons in the skin you modded (wdilkengtest.zip) 1 through 5 to launch apps of someone's choosing like the other buttons do? They're useless to me with their current function . Also, can you change the number pad area to be a calculator like tap pad (1-9, . / - +, *, x)? Do that and it's my dream skin!

This is a cool and overdue tool. Couple of questions. I have modified a template and some of the buttons work. I see the palm screen which shows a list of 8 apps, which look like a way to map buttons, but I can't seem to get all of them to work. While I was messing around in the beginning I saw the "Save appinfo!" prompts, but I can't seem to remember where that was. Is this a way to map buttons? My test skin wsb file is at

I can't figure out the WonderMaker app at all... can someone post a graphic picture of what each button in the app does, and info on how to open a template, save, and use one?

I can't seem to get this to work. I tried d/l WonderSilk5.zip, installed it, did a soft reset, and it didn't do a thing. It's not showing up under the silkmanager or anywhere on my device. I can locate the files in Clie Files, but thats it.

I don't have an rar extractor, so I can't use those files.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

There's an application on your clie now called WONDER SILK. It has an icon of the graffiti area. MAKE SURE ALL FILES ARE INSTALLED TO RAM, NOT THE MEMORY STICK. From there, select the skin you want from the list with the checkbox, and click the large oval button in the top row in the bottom right (rightmost button). That activates the skin. Then go into Silk Manager and select "Wonder Skin".

I got it working. It looks awesome, but impossible to fully figure out. I will pay BIG $$$ to whoever fully translates the code and documentation.

Maybe I can help you to figure out how to use WonderSilk and WonderMaker. I am using NX70(JP) and started to use WonderSilk a week ago. I tried to change graffiti area with my original picture by using WonderMaker.

Both are great freeware for NX70/NX60 and NZ90.
As you know, Wondersilk and Kikumaru(comes with WonderSilk) is a plug-in and application to change silk skins and application launches.
After activated WonderSilk from Silk button in the status bar,
Kikumaru(application with slik skin icon) functions followings;
from main screen
select skin database
change tracing color of stylus
define 5 shortcut text
delete skin(left button)
display db name or file name(top right check box)
from menu
read silk data(*.wsb)from /Palm/Programs/WonderSilk
selecting Japanese Character input panel(no need for you)
launcher definitions (upto 8)
delete SP text buffer(extra text buffer area for copy/paste)

The latest version is WonderSilk1.12 and Kikumaru1.10.

You can create your own skin by WonderMaker.
Wsb files comes with WonderMaker are template you can modify.
WonderMaker can uses;
original images: 320x130 for back ground, 188x126 for graffiti
upto 40 buttons alignment and selecting functions
(this is tough for you because pull down menu is Japanese)
create wsb file for sending into memory stick
After creating/modifying skin, save as wsb file (top right box is for silk name, and large button in the middle right is save button).
Put it into /Palm/Programs/WonderSilk.
Read it from Kikumaru by first command from menu to convert to prc file(saved on Clie).
Select the silk from Kikumaru main screen.

Try to make your own skins!

All normal graffiti functions, eg. home,calc,so on and so forth.
Top of graffiti, cut, copy, past
Bottom of graffiti, icons for clie quicklaunch(if you understand what I mean(romote,clie memo, ect..))
Right of calc and find buttons, mp3 controls.
Still maintain letter input graffiti area, but have button input for numers.
To the left of calc and find buttons, have mathamatical opperaters(+,-,*,/)
to the left of home and list buttons, have hardkeys, (address,todo, ect.)
And add a lcd for the calc to do math in graffiti area.

Does anybody know if it's possible to add function buttons to the PC app workspace and assign function on the NX, without using Japanese pulldown menu on the PC app? I added some buttons, but can't seem to assign them a function. Also, what is the 8 item list on the NX for assigning functions? Is the functionality limited to 8 or 40 buttons. I don't get it.
