| xlr8, this is a different set of plugins. What is being discussed here is much more powerful. Thanks for the link though, and if anyone hasn't checked out those SilkPlugins yet, you've gotta check them out. I use the Calculator plugin every now and then to do calculations while writing notes with Graffiti Anywhere. |

To Modify a plugin skin.

Hope this helps...sorry i dont have any more details but this is the best i can piece together... maybe someone else can fill in the fine details.. | Excellent!
Now, if we can only get an "English" OS version that eliminates the four Japanese buttons and properly aligns the Graffiti area.
Thanks for your efforts on this!!!!!!!!!

You can actually change those four buttons to launch whatever app you want... can even change the icon to whatever you want...still having trouble with the grafitti alignment though

| Working Plug-in for you to test! OK, I pretty much figured out the program, and re-worked one of the Plug-in templates.
The template maps the four core app hard buttons and the hard up.down button at the top of the Graffiti area. It maps the Audio Player buttons (with Volume +/-) in the middle, and it maps 5 buttons to the bottom. The five buttons need to be defined from within the WonderSilk app. The left and right stuff is pretty much the same except that I removed the "Soft Reset" button. Also, the upper right silk button is a "Keyboard" button. Not sure of its function, so I re-mapped the function to open the calculator.
I "overcame" the Japanese Graffiti layout by kinda fudging things a bit. First, I deleted the four Japanese buttons. Next, I made the Graffiti area Grey and made the entire Silk Base graphic Grey. Finally, I "eyeballed" the position of the center Graffiti divider line and moved it to the right a bit. It still behaves the same except that there is no "interference" from the Japanese buttons, and the graffiti area looks uniform.
The only anomily is if you write in the far right of the grafiti area, the "trail" doesn't erase, but if the Virtual Graffiti area is collapsed or ig you toggle the "Graffiti on/off" button on the right, it will clear it up.
So, click <here> to download the .zip file. It contains the two modified graphics as well as the .wsb template file and the installable .PDB file.
I will gladly rework this more as needed.
It's now 2:00am, and I need some sleep!
Have fun!

| About the application launcher. It's quite simple: a) launch the app you want to be linked to a certain button, then just hit that button and it will say save info, the next time you hit the button, your programm will come up. In case you accidently already saved some applications to buttons (most likely your launcher), just start Filez and look through the prefs: At the very bottom you will find some settings with wslk ID, delete them and you are ready to assign new applications to the buttons

Can you "clean up" functions2btnsilk and leave the background intact? GREAT work on the other skin! How do I change what app a button is bound to once I bind it on the buttons of the skin? I tried reinstalling the skin but to no avail...
