Question Iambic Mail and SMS, other SMS apps?

hi, just trying out iambic mail. don't want to sync my mail (currently some 5000 in inbox) but use it's SMS capabilities as i also use agendus and want to SMS from without the adressbook if possible.

iambic website mentions something that os4 and phone services are needed? what's that? have a nr70 with 4.1 but what phone services are we talking about. website states that there is no need for a treo but a os4-device with phone services and fitting mobile phone should do. any ideas?

if not from iambic, what other SMS-tools are available and good value out there? want to use the SMS-tool with a SE T300.

TIA for any suggestions.

Basically, the software needs to see a built-in phone or the option is disabled. Send an email to the developer. Using a separate phone to me doesn't seem practical.
