| Bluetooth, NX70V and my Sony Z600 phone Hello all,
I need some help. Please forgive my stupidity......
I've just purchased a new replacement phone. My trusty old Nokia 8210 just gave up and packed it in. Replaced it with a new Sony Ericsson Z600. Top phone. Very impressed with it and best of all it has bluetooth.
Now with that in mind, i thought id be able to get my NX70V bluetooth enabled and do all of that cool stuff ive been dreaming about.
Heres my problem(s):
I've got the Eruware CF Driver already installed so i thought i might be able to get a CF Bluetooth card. Stupid me. The Eruware driver only supports CF storage cards. That goes that idea out the window.
Maybe i could find a PELACA driver (that guy is brilliant) for a CF Card. No luck there.
Maybe theres a MS Bluetooth Card. Cant find one !! I know there out there (been doing some searching on here and other users have em) but for the life of me cant track one down.
So......does anyone know where i can get one of these things? I'm located downunder so that might be a slight problem but ill certainly consider it.
Can anyone help?

| I'd recommend ebay.
Expansys has them for $85 USD but in backorder, and ALL other prices seem TOO expensive.
I got mine for about $80 + s/h on ebay but that seems to be rare for a USED BT MS.
Goodluck, IT WORKS wonderful with my NX70 + T39m =D

| I've managed to track a Bluetooth Memory Stick on E-Bay for $95.00 AUD which i reckon is an excellent price to pay for one of these things !
Now someone please correct me if im wrong. Cant remember where i heard/read it but do i need the 'proper' drivers/software to make it run with Palm OS 5 ??
If so, do i just get the relevant software off the Sony site?

| aussie dude . . . . i think you have the wrong impression about the CF slot on your NX . . . . it was made for bluetooth wireless, and the only drivers you will need are to use it as mem card storage. You can find a CF bluetooth more readily than a MS bluetooth, as most clies without built-in bluetooth have the CF slot, and the UX's without CF slot already have built-in bluetooth.
That being said, you can rid of that eruware driver, get a CF bluetooth card, and be on your merry way.

| I don't think I have ever seen in the CF slot Craze anyone successfuly using a CF BT card.
BTW, just noticed, I HAD not been using the latest BT drivers, THIS POST seems quite complete.
Now to upgrade my NX70.

Sorry, you've got the wrong wireless protocol. The CF slot was meant for Wi-Fi, otherwise known as 802.11b. NOT bluetooth. The two are completely different things. I have never heard of a bluetooth CF card working in an NX. Come to think of it, I've never heard of any CF device other than memory working in it, other than Sony's Wi-Fi card (yes, it has to be sony's). Go with the bluetooth MS, it's the only way to get bluetooth on it.

Don't bother with expansys or blueunplugged. Blueunplugged declined my order and then increased the price by another USD100.
Expansys declined my order and then blamed it on my credit card company.
You can read all the correspondence related to it at http://www.palmx.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=181
BTW I checked. There is no driver for Z600 yet. For SE, only T68i, T610 and r520m is available. Not for Z600, P800 nor P900.

Huh? I need a driver for the z600?
The z600 already has bluetooth. The NX70V does not. Dont i just need a driver for the MS Bluetooth card that i will insert into the Clie to get it to work?
After that dont i assume that both units will then communicate pretty much on their own?

I see that you have yet to read the article at http://www.palmx.org/detailnews.asp?id=104
You need the driver for Z600 for the NX70V, else it wont be able to communicate effectively with it. You can pair it but it wont do anything else. Please read http://www.palmx.org/detailnews.asp?id=104 and be enlightened.
