| Okay..
- Which one is slimmer? Extreme-Limit.. but if you put the the WiFi Card out like in the pictures, it's bigger than Bellagio case.
- Since the Extreme-Limit one does not have a WiFi Card slot, will it work if I put it into one of the Credit Card slot?
No, but you can just leave it there permanet like the one in the picture.
- The Extreme-Limit case flips down when it is open. Is it harder to use (I mean when you actually hold it and use your NX)
It won't be really harder to use. You can flip it all the way behind and hold both sides together or leave it dangling after flipping it open. Using both the Extreme-Limit and BellagioDesigns, I feel Extreme-Limit's case is Easier to charge and hotsync with the case on. On the Bellagio case, sometimes the NX just moves up slightly itself and not charged properly.. I hope you understand what I am trying to tell you.
- And finally, which one you like better?
The Bellagio case is softer (in the front) and come with more slots for credit cards and a slot for your WiFi card. I think both are great and I can't decide yet which one is better. Look at the pictures and why not, you tell me which one you like more?
My suggestion, get both and use anyone you like anytime. Btw, it's very easy to put the NX in the Extreme Limit case than on Bellagio but on the Bellagio case, there are many great features you should look into.

Thanks!
It's a tough choice. Unlike you, I can only afford 1 case.... Another thing I like about the Bellagio case is the Magnetic closure. I had another case for my N710 that has a similar closure as the Extreme-limit and sometimes I found it clumsy when I tried to open the case.
If I were to pick one on Black. I probably pick the Extreme-limit one as it looks more high-class. However, the Nubuck brown looks also very nice.
BTW, I hate the Bellagio's logo though....
Anyway, thanks a lot for all the pics and info you posted.
Cheers,
Ray |

| Has anyone tried a metal case vs. one of the leather flip cases? I was very happy with Rhinoskin's case with my previous PDA (it saved my Visor Pro from my clumsiness too many times to count) because it folded nicely when using the unit. However, it appears that none of the cases currently available for the NX have this feature. (i.e. most metal cases look like they would make using the NX rather awkward to use when opened) Would using leather case provide an adequate level of protection for my new NX or should I just deal with the awkwardness of the available metal cases in favor of protection? |

| Many people have asked for a review of the new hard case for the Sony ClieNX 60 and 70. I just received my www.innopocket.com case from Hong Kong. The pictures that I provided in this review will be most useful in helping you decide if this is the case for you. I am personally very pleased with the case. I work in the medical field and my needs for a case were durability rather than style but I think that this case meets both of those of those criteria. With the device not in the case and the case closed you can squeeze down in the middle of the case with quite a bit of pressure and there is almost no give. This gives me faith that leaning up against something with the case in my pocket won't allow enough pressure on the screen to break it. There is also a neoprene lining, that is more like the inside of the sunglasses case than the neoprene that you would find it in a knee brace but I think it will do the job; it is about 1.5 mm thick and adherent to the metal. The face and back of the case are padded with this material as well as the sides but not the top and bottom (i.e. the area of the IR and cable connector don't have padding). I agree with previous posts that it is more difficult to remove the stylus when the case is open but I think that is just a matter of getting into the habit of taking it out before opening the case. The back and scroll buttons are extremely easily accessible as well as the hold button there are also fairly well protected from a side impact fall. The device fits snugly into the rear of the case held there by the neoprene side walls. While it seems to hold the device fairly well I worry that with repeated removal of the device that the padding would lose its grip. One would have to use the provided adapter for syncing as the cradle will not accommodate the case. There's a small window with a screen in the back aspect of the case which causes almost no volume loss of the device. One of my concerns was that the Sony ear phone piece would not be able to fit into the slot; but it fits nicely. The gripping action on the device only affects the back of the device which allows the clam shell configuration to be used while the case is still in the device. The CF WIFI card slot is easily accessible as is the memory stick slot. This might be a disadvantage as inadvertent memory stick loss could occur. The camera area is totally covered and would only be usable while the case is open. If you plan on using the keyboard with your thumbs, forget about it because only your left thumb will have access to the keyboard. There are no holes in the front of the case for the microphone. But the microphone record button is accessible. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase there is no question that for $35 + $5 in shipping is a steal. I feel confident that this is about as good protection is you're going to get for this device and recommend it highly to people who are on the fence. |

#53 | | Guest | The added weight is not that big of a deal for me. I think that for the most part, people who are buying a clie are not the type of people who are trying to fit it into a business suit. The NX as I see it is sort of a briefcase or pants pocket type of device anyway so adding a few ounces to it doesn't really matter. The thing that I like about it though is that I now feel confident in putting it in a pocket because a doorway or table isn't going to hurt it.
By the way I am having a hard time uploading pictures does anyone know how to upload pictures rather than to link to them. | |

| yeah i don't mind added weight at all - i'm one of those people that actually likes something to have some weight to it - feels quality to me. but bulk is another story - i want to get a case that wraps the clie and doesn't add too much to it's dimensions like most of the leather cases do... would you say the innopocket adds much to the dimensions?
can't wait to see your picks (i have no idea how to get them up here just that it's possible!)

| The metal case hugs it pretty tightly... Talking about less than 2-4mm onto each dimention. |

| for those of you who are interested, i did a review of the vaja flip-top case for the gadgeteer web site ( www.the-gadgeteer.com) - it was posted today. if anyone wants to know something that wasn't covered in the review, just let me know.
i have to say that the innopocket case is tempting me! technically speaking, i still have a budget for a case since i got the vaja one for free! hmmm, may have to order one of those... |

| clieZilla,
I went ahead and purchased the innopocket case as well. I don't own a digital camera (and have an nx60), so i wont be able to post pics, but i agree with finger123 that the case does not add too much bulk. I believe that the bulk it does add is less than that of any other leather flip-case (except maybe the ivolution) - for 35+shipping, you can't go wrong. I'm left-handed, but haven't noticed any problems with that like I read there would be...but I've always been a bit ambidextrous too. This case does what I need it to do, doesn't add much bulk, and wasn't expensive. Good luck with your search for the perfect case.

| I will post some pictures as soon as I get my Innopocket.
I am left handed too and never like the location of the stylus on the NX!

| As another data point, I got my Bellagio case today. It's pretty nice and I'm quite happy with it.
The flap over the screen does add some padding, and I can fit two memory sticks in the provided slots, plus two more in the WiFi slot.
One does have to be sure the NX70V's base is as far down as it can go in the pocket, otherwise when placed in the cradle it won't make proper contact.
I think it looks quite handsome (but then again I'm not bothered by the "Bellagio" logo at the top).
It is probably adds more bulk than other cases. But for me that's a selling point, since I was looking for drop protection. |
