| I got both my Bellagio Cases yesterday. Although the flip case design is quite cool - able to Sync + Charge with the case on, I find that case to be too bulky compared to the PielFrama's case which is more slim and high class looking. The downside on PielFrama's case is no WL100 card holder, or slot for it.
The Bellagio's book type case is quite cool - from the pictures in their website but the real thing isnt as pretty as it looks. It's not very comfortable to hold that with the magnetic strap right at the place you are holding it.

| Re: Another case
Bought one of these even before my NX70 was delivered. Very nicely made, and I recommend it. And it's only 60 Euros.
What do you mean, you've never heard of the Euro?

| The bellagio is excellent if you have many credit cards... since the latest model they are selling come with the nice credit cards holder. I highly recommend it if you are going to use the WL100 CF card on your NX.

| Here is a pic showing the Covertec and Piel Frama cases side-by-side. The Piel Frama case I have is a dual-tone, black-brown which is very attractive.

| Choosing the perfect case for your NX is difficult. Anyway, here are some shots of Covertec cases.

| 2nd pic of Covertec.. For more information about covertec, please visit http://www.covertec.com
What 2nd pic is showing you? Covertec case needs to be folded over like the picture if you want to hold it unlike the Piel Frama case which came with a elastic strap. Holding it this way, from my experience is not very comfortable. - this does not mean the case is not good.

| Finally-the perfect case WOW!! I think the folks at innopocket.com set a new record for order fulfillment!
I ordered my NX case on Sun evening and it was delivered to my home at 10 this morning (Tues)- direct from Hong Kong to Kansas City, Missouri in barely 36 hrs!
The case is perfect and I finally feel like my very expensive Clie has the right kind of protection for my peace of mind.
Sorry- have not had time to take pics, but the fit is perfect, has access to CF Slot, jog dial, ear plug etc. Can also use the camera while in the case. Won't go in the cradle while in the case, but port is exposed so can use the plug adapter. Adds less bulk to the unit than the leather cases. Very sleek.
(I have a Sena and a Brando but diod not like the way the edges are so exposed- seems like the plastic edge would be the easiest part to damage)

| I must say I'm really impressed with Innopocket's speed of delivery. Anyway, here's a quick review.
The case is very well built. The build quality and fit and finish are very good. The Clie is held firmly in place by the foam lining, so though there is no physical "latch" securing the Clie, I feel reasonably comfortable that it won't inadvertently slip out. You have access to all ports and controls including the voice-recorder switch. While the microphone is covered when the case is closed, I had no trouble recording voice memos. My experience with other Clies is that hard cases make it more difficult to use the jog-dial, but this is not the case with the Innopocket case. The speaker has a small cutout in the back with a mesh grill cover. Though you can't put the Clie on the cradle while in the case, the cutout on the bottom does make it possible to attch a sync cable. The latch that holds the case closed feels solid. (I have the NX-60, so I can't report on using the camera.)
Two other things I noticed, while it is possible to easily remove the stylus when the case is closed, it is very difficult to remove the stylus when the case is open. So you have to remember to take the stylus out before opening. The other thing is that the case does add quite of both weight and thickness. In the case, the Clie feels quite hefty.
I will post a few pictures. |
