| AV Remote? In this page: http://www.clieplaza.com/en/product/ux50/features.html
I found this:
AV REMOTE
AV Remote Control Feature
For extra connectivity around the home, the CLIÉ is equipped with an enhanced infrared port and CLIÉ Remote Commander software (v.1.30). This means that you can remotely control AV devices such as your TV, VCR and DVD player.
Is that wrong? |

| My friend recently got a ux GRRRRRR.... anyway he was real disapointed when he found that it DIDN"T have remot commander, so its probably a error, Also the DVD player is not AV (analog video) but DV (digital video)

| AV stand for Audio Video not Analog Video ;
As this remote has been added to both us and uk sites, i really think it's a real feature not a error |

| The UX doesn't have the High IR. only the low IR. So in otherwords, even if you did get the app onto a ux, it probably won't even work, and if it does work, you'll only get a 2 foot range. |

| yes... the UX only has a standard IR port... not the enhanced IR port as in the NX/NZ...
you can get the software on your UX.... just like in the NR... but only have a very limited range -> useless~ |
