| Your Top 5 Essential UX App's What are your top 5 essential add-on applications or utilities you would recommended for the UX?
I'm new to the forum and after reading many of the posts, I have loaded two app's mentioned frequently. First was Pocket Tunes which is a big improvement on the Clie Audio Player. The second was Fonts4UX, which has made my screen fonts much easier to read.
It would be interesting for me and others to review a thread of posts with everyones recommendations. When you list an application, please explain why it enhanced or improved your UX operating experience. |

| In no particular order:
Bluetooth Toggle - so I don't have to
OKey - Close the UX to switch off
Energy Dimmer - Allows profiles for backlight brightness
WordComplete - Because Graffiti 2 sucks and I need all the help I can get
TuSSH - Widescreen access to my *nix boxes from anywhere in the world. |

| There's a couple more I can't do without - 5 isn't enough
iSilo - for reading my ebooks. This is probably the app I use most
Timecopy - syncs the clié time with the PC every hotsync. If your PC is NTP sync'ed then your clié time is always 100% accurate. |

| Thanks for the great feedback. I'll give some of these apps a try this weekend. Dannn, thanks for posting your primary use for the UX, it has a direct relation to you top 5 add-on apps.
My UX use is multi-purpose for entertainment and organization as Sony puts on the label. I'm a road warrior and the UX keeps me organized and entertained while on the road. On long flights with a set of noise canceling headphones I listen to music or digital books. When I can afford to buy a larger MS, I could watch movies. In restaurants and coffee shops I can surf the net. Obviously I have all the organizer functions for my work, but with the UX keyboard I can easily type short notes and memos. |

iSilo (all of my ebooks / manuals / stuff)
PalmReader (all of the commercial ebooks I read)
NetFront (I leave my laptop at work most nights, it's so good!)
VeriChat (For IM'ing in meetings at work and at home while watching bad movies.)
Good responses from everybody else, too --- many of the others are on my Clie, paid for, and close to top-five status. | |
