misc. questions....pls help!

can you use aol im or yahoo im on the ux-50? i cant figure it out. also, is avantgo free?

Avantgo is free, up to a point. I think you get like 2 megs of space free, but if you need more you have to pay. Basically you have to be a super power-user to need more than 2 megs.

There is an AOL IM program, but I don't think there's a Yahoo. There is a program that interfaces with multiple IM services, called versachat I think.

Actually, the program is called VeriChat and it works with Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, and MSN messanger.

Ok, ill download both..

If I want to check my yahoo, aol, excite, hotmail email, do I just go to the respective site?

I went to AOL on my ux50, but I cant seem to get to my email.

Oops. Sorry about the versachat thing.

The best way to get email on AOL us to access it with POP rather than trying to get it by web. Check with AOL to make syre you have the POP settings, then use them in cliemail.
